Fox's Tuesday lineup will welcome back an old friend next year.
The network has announced it's shuffling its mid-season schedule to make room for hour-long dramedy "Glee."
The network bumped Ryan Murphy's Gleeks to Thursday nights for the 2012 fall season, but the series will now air on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. starting February 25. "Glee" is expected to remain in that time slot for the rest of its fifth season.
Meanwhile, Mindy Kaling's "The Mindy Project" will be on hiatus after its January 28 winter finale, and will be replaced at 9:30 p.m. by Fox's freshman series "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" starting February 4.
That doesn't mean Kaling's tapped out for the rest of the year, though. "The Mindy Project" will be back in the spring following the finale of Andy Samberg's Brooklyn cop comedy.
So what does this all mean for "Dads"? The little-loved new show will stick around on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. until February 11.
Zooey Deschanel's "New Girl" is the one Tuesday comedy to come out unscathed: that'll still be on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m., as always.
If you need a visual aid (and we definitely do), here's what Tuesdays on Fox in the mid-season are supposed to look like
